As salaamu alaykum
In this lesson we learned that the mudha'af verbs take fatha when they are majzum in order to avoid iltiqaa' as sakinain. However, I didn't notice in the lesson any mention of how to make these verbs mansub. Since it wasn't mentioned I am assuming that you just place fathah at the end like normal. That would make the majzum form and the mansub form the same. I am pretty sure this is the case, but I just wanted to ask to be sure. |

وعليكم السلام ورحمةُ اللهِ Quote from the verb-chart, Madinah Book 2, Lesson 29 (Arabic-only section) pg 212 : ------------ أَقْسَامُ الْفِعْلِ : الْمُضَعَّفُ : الْمَاضِي : شَمَّ الْمُضَارِعُ : يَشَمُّ الْمُضَارِعُ الْمَنْصُوبُ : لَنْ يَشَمَّ الْمُضَارِعُ الْمَجْزُومُ : لَمْ يَشَمَّ الأَمْرُ : شَمَّ End quote ------------- Hope this answers your question. والسلام. |
