bismiAllaah

assalamu alayk,

As you know all good comes from Allaah, and all the praises solely belong to him; may he be Glorified, and Exalted.

Yes, you are very correct; ma sha Allaah. That phrase you wrote is in the compound of construct/thin possesed(owned) (مضاف), and genitive/possesor (owner) (مضاف اليه). As you mentioned, this compound is called (إَضاف).

For example, (قلم) is the possesed (thing owned ie: the pen); (مضاف), and the pronoun (نا) is the possesor (owner ie: owner of the pen.); (مضاف اليه).

As a result, we get (قَلِمُنَاْ) = Our pen; lietrally 'pen of ours'.

I hope the above answer clarifies your reasonable question. May Allaahu ta'ala make it very easy for you to master the: elequent, blessed, honoured, and easy language of the Glorious Qu'ran wa baraka Allaahu feek.

Allaah knows best

Essalamu alaikum...

JazaakAllahu Khayran Kethira... I'm sorry for not writing in arabic letters. But I couldn't find an editor good for me to write. But your answer fully satisfied me. I knew that "Qalemu Haamidin" was idafe but, I wasn't sure about "qalemuna". Now it's clear. Thanks.
