Question for those who have finished or almost all three books.

السلام عليكم إخْوَتِي وَ أَخَوَاتِي (did I do that right? )

Some background first: I'm literally 4 minutes away from finishing the last DVD of book 1 (Alhamdulillah) and I'm going to start Book 2 InshaAllah. I'm just looking for some encouragement or whatever

This question is for those who have finished or who have almost finished all three books using only the DVDs:

1) Do you understand most of what you read in the Quran?
2) Do you understand at least some of what somebody says in Arabic?
