assalamu alaikum
The best place to look for masdars is a dictionary.
The Glossary of words used in the Madina Books contains the babs of the verbs as well as masdar and plural of nouns.
The Glossary is available for download (pdf format) in the download section of the website www.lqtoronto.com
This book is worth it's weight in gold.

bismiAllaah

wa alayak assalam;

As you know all good comes from Allaah, and all the praises solely belong to him only; may he be Glorified, and Exalted.

You have asked a very popular questioin; ma sha Allaah. The patterns (وزن) for the masdar (مصدر) are called (سَمَاْعِي)=as people heard. This means that every Arab tribe had their own masdars; thus, people heard them and are now used all over the Arab nations. Every tribe has their own pattern for their own masdar; hence, one word can have more than one masdar. Therefore, there are so many patterns, and madars for one to know. As a result, these masdar's need to be memorized, but as they come you will easily record them in your mind, and will know more as you continuosly progress in your Arabic studies. In addition, the attached pdf document is an explanation of the masdars in the base form of the verbs. I hope you further benefit from it in sha Allaah.

Finally, I hope the above brief information clarifies your reasonable question. May Allaahu ta'ala reward: Brother Fuad Abdu ArRaheem, Brother Asif Mehrali, and the institute of the language of the Glorious Qur'an. May Allaahu ta'ala allow you to master the: elequent, blessed, and honoured langauge of the Glorious Qur'an, and send many peace and blessings unto our beloved Prophet Muhammad; baraka Allaahu feek.

Allaah knows best

I found this in the internet:
Mujarrad Baabs
For three letter verbs without extras, the masdar pattern could be one of over 50 patterns:
Here are some of the patterns with the arabic Masdar Patterns Mujarrad Baabs For three letter verbs without extras, the masdar pattern could be one of over 50 patterns:

فَعْلٌ - نَصْرٌ
فُعُولٌ
- دُخُولٌ خُرُوجٌ جُلُوسٌ قُعُودٌ
فِعَالٌ
- قِيَامٌ صِيَامٌ
فَعَلٌ
- عَمَلٌ
فَعَالٌ
- سَمَاعٌ

فِعْلٌ
- كِذْبٌ
فِعَالَةٌ
- كِتَابَةٌ

It is possible for single set of base letters to have multiple masdars; examples:
دَعَا يَدْعُو
-
دَعْوَةٌ - to invite
دُعَاءٌ - to supplicate

As you see we have to memorize as we memorize the meaning and the baabs.

Each mazeed Baab has a fixed pattern for masdar.
You can find them in the handouts of Madina Books 2/3.

Assalamu Alaikum

لَنْ : حرف نفي ونصب واستقبال
Particle of negation and accusative and futurity.
In other words negates the imperfect verb in the future and makes the verb mansoob.

Lesson 19 of Book 2 deals with this particle in detail.

I hope that I answered you question.
