Default Layla Nahaara

Al salaamu 'aleykum wrwb

Somewhere around lesson 15-18 there's a sentance saying "the one who wishes to pass with excelent greats, let him study 'Layla Nahaara'".

Im having trouble understanding this. Why is there no tanween on layl & nahaar? Could somebody explain the grammar of this? Barak Allaho feek

edit: this sentance is found: p. 125, exercise 2, number 6
