Question Rahmat and Qaribun

Salam Alaikum.

Please see the Handout for book 2, Page 1. Here, some "Inna" verses from the Quran are shown.

Please see the fourth example, verse [7:56] - "Inna rahmata allahi qaribun".
Now Rahmat is feminine, isn't it ? But Qaribun is masculine. Does anyone know an explanation for this apparent gender mismatch ? Why is the feminine Qaribatun not used in this verse ?
