any error in a couplet?

assalamu alaikum.

"why hast thou made me in this village, the inhabitant of which is satisfied with every type of humilition with them?"

is the following couplet contains the above message in it? or there is a need of any change in it?

لماذا تَخْلُقُنِي في هذه القريةِ
و أهلُها رَاضٍ بِأيِّها الذِّلَّةِ

the و which i used is واو الحال
and أي is used as a أداة الشرط. and i ommit the majzoom verb from the end which should be "anyone can think of" or "anyone can find"
